We bought an old mens jacket and unpicked the lining from the material and started to created different garment ideas with the lining and then the actually jacket fabric. It was quite simple to use the lining as it was thin and made really nice ruffled shapes whereas the jacket fabric was a lot thicker so it made more sculptural designs. It was really interesting experiment and it made me think about the ways of draping the fabric to make different ideas.
